I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I provide therapy with a
client population that includes adults and adolescents, multicultural, and
alternative lifestyles, offering psychotherapy for individuals, couples,
families and groups. In my work, I have successfully treated clients from
many different ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have
over 20 years of practice with clients experiencing problems with blended
families, gay/lesbian relationships, intergenerational issues, self-esteem
and personal growth, conflict management, couples communication and intimacy
concerns, divorce, parental coaching, and the management of grief and loss.
I have a special focus on working with LGBTQ+ clients. I work with clients who have been experiencing emotional issues (depression,
anxiety, compulsion) and trouble coping with life transitions. In addition
to being a marriage and family therapist, I am retired U. S. Navy and have
an appreciation for the challenges of military life, active duty and
veterans.
I offer an integrative, strength-based approach to help clients develop
their own voices and pursue their unique paths to individual fulfillment. My
approach is collaborative and relational with a focus on the holistic health
of clients.
